Executive Finance ("Executive Finance," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through executivefinance.ca (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices available to you.
This policy is written in plain language for general use. It is not a substitute for legal advice. If your organization serves visitors in the European Union or California in a way that creates regulatory exposure, have a lawyer review this document before publishing it.

This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the Site and our services more broadly. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions on a matter of data handling, this Privacy Policy governs.

We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us directly. This includes your name, email address, and any message content when you fill out a contact form, subscribe to our email list, or otherwise communicate with us through the Site.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we use Google Analytics (or a similar analytics tool) to collect information about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. This is done through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
Information from third-party platforms. If you enroll in a course, all payment and enrollment activity takes place on Teachable, a third-party platform. We do not process payment card information on this Site. Teachable's own privacy policy governs the information you provide there, and we encourage you to review it.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended if cookies are disabled. Google offers a browser opt-out add-on for Google Analytics if you would prefer not to be tracked for analytics purposes.

As a Canadian business, we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Under PIPEDA, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request access to it, and to request correction of inaccurate information. If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right to object to certain processing, such as marketing emails. This section describes general rights available under GDPR. It does not address every obligation that may apply to a business with a substantial EU user base, such as identifying a specific legal basis for each type of processing or appointing an EU representative. If EU traffic is meaningful to your business, a fuller GDPR-specific review is worth doing separately.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
